Embossing presses part of your design up from the surface of the card, so people feel your logo before they’ve even read it. It adds a quiet, tactile quality that works for lawyers, doctors, boutique hotels and anyone whose brand is built on craftsmanship.
You can emboss a logo on its own (blind embossing, with no ink), emboss over a printed area so colour and relief line up, or combine it with gold or silver foil for the most striking effect. Thicker, uncoated or textured stocks show the raised detail best.
Embossing uses a custom block made from your artwork, so bold shapes and larger text work better than hairlines. Supply the embossed area as a vector file alongside the print file at 300 DPI, CMYK, with 3 mm bleed. Embossed cards start at ₹999 for 100 and are ready in 24–48 hours.
